En el Valle is a photographic series taken during the production of Chelsea McMullans’ feature length documentary Miraculous Breast. Nestled beneath the base of the Andes Mountains, Vallecito is home to the shrine of Difunta Correa, the most powerful folk saint in all of Argentina, which draws 100,000 visitors a year. The devoted come to Difunta in moments of need, often leaving precious objects behind in her honor.  

This black and white series documents a community asado made in La Union Vecinal (The Community Union) of Vallecito.
